The New Year brings new changes to our retreat! We are always evaluating our previous retreats; the dynamics of the group, the comfort of our guests, the classes, food, and how we can improve. This has led us to make some changes in our Spring 2013 retreat.
The first major change will be the location of our retreat. Due to the increasing business at Hidden Springs Ranch it has made it difficult for us to hold our retreats when we would like to....so we will now be holding the retreat at Falcon's Ledge. Falcon's Ledge is an award winning fly fishing lodge in Altamont, UT. Tucked away in it's own private canyon, it is surrounded by lakes and beautiful wilderness. The lodge offers 8 private suites which can accodate two to six people depending on the room. Each room has an attached bathroom to give you added privacy. If you would like more information on Falcon's Ledge you can go to their website at www.falconsledge.com.
The next change will be the length of the retreat. Since most of our retreat guests usually attend our optional wednesday night we have decided to include the wedneseday night as part of our standard retreat. Our retreat will now run from Wednesday evening through Saturday morning. Retreat tuition will now be $450 for a single occupancy room, and $340 for multiple occupancy. This tution price will include 8 meals, a welcome gift, drawings, prizes, and all the other little extra pamperings.
Our last change is that due to our increasing number of "non-scrapbookers", we will be adding a few general crafts to our classes. We will still be providing scrapbook layout instruction but two of our classs will now become crafting classes. These crafts may range from holiday crafts, jewely, sewing, teacher gifts, holiday neighbor gifts, etc. We welcome suggestions as far as projects that you would like to see taught. We will provide one kit per person but additional kits may be purchased on a preorder system.
We know there are a lot of changes but we are excited about these new opportunities and hope that you will join us. Let us know if you have any concerns or questions and we would be happy to address them.
Thanks so much for your support and patronage! We love the interaction with each of you that these retreats have been able to give us!

November 2011 Retreat
I loved all the cute luggage everyone brought with them. You know it's a scrapbooking retreat when most of it is full of supplies, and very little of it is clothes and makeup.
We always have fabulous food at the retreats. Deanne Hanson and Angela Haynes were our amazing caterers and spoiled us with home-cooked meals and yummy desserts!
We did a little crafting of every kind this time. Malinda showed us how to make bracelets out of old t-shirts. They turned out so cute!
Malinda, Lisa and Missy in their cute coordinating scrapbooking t-shirts. Everyone always looks so cute!
The ladies that came up for the extra night on Wednesday each got one of these owl sleeping masks. We had several other surprises for the ladies to go to sleep to and wake up to each day.
We have so much fun at these retreats! Sadie, Taylor, and Shantelle showed us how to be awesome rockstars! We laughed so hard!
This table got some awesome photoshopping done after our class on basic photoshop skills and christmas card making.
Malinda won our guest teacher contest with this layout. We can't wait to have you teach again in March Malinda!!

April Retreat!
We just came back from our Paper Muses scrapbooking retreat yesterday! What an awesome and fun weekend we had :) We had 24 incredible and fun women come join us from Wed. to Sat. for a continuous girls night out. When the ladies got to the lodge (Hidden Springs Ranch) we had a fun welcome gift for each of them. They all got two clear stamp sets from Hero Arts, three Mister Huey sprays from Studio Calico, and some super cute wood veneer butterflies, also from Studio Calico.
It is tradition to watch Grey's Anatomy during the retreat, and this time was no different. I have to say, this was an interesting episode - wasn't planning on it being a musical! We all got some great laughs and a few tears too!
Taylor, Sadie and Malinda working on one of Lindsey's classes.
Mandee busy with the embossing powder. We always have some fun new techniques at the retreat, usually taught by Lindsey. :)
Laurie and Kassie taking advantage of the awesome meals we have at the retreat. The food is always one of the best things at the retreat.
Malinda won the contest to be a guest teacher next time with this layout. It is darling, especially with a photo of her brand new baby!
Every night we leave little treats and gifts on the pillows of our guests. This time they got some yummy chocolate dipped fudge made by Lindsey and some bath salts the other night. I forgot to take pictures of the cute necklaces and keychain lanyards they also got. We always leave a gift at their spots every morning too. We love to spoil our guests!
Denise rocking the paint and bubble wrap technique.
Malinda just had this sweet little baby boy a month ago and lucky for us, she brought him with her! It was so fun to have a sweet little baby there with us, we all got to fight over holding this sweet little thing! He was so good!! Here is Cindy taking her turn with him.
I think we had a few ladies sneak off before this photo was taken to go on a walk around the lodge. This is most of our good friends that we got to spend the weekend with. Every time we have a retreat it's like a family reunion! So good to see these ladies and make new friends too!
I love all the cute pink bags!! I think this was the supplies of two people. Yep, there is room to pack everything you own at the lodge!
This is looking down on about half the main floor. It is a huge place with lots of room to spread out and relax!
Taylor and Shantelle. Most of the ladies bring cute matching shirts and scrapbook related t-shirts. I love these cute scarves that said iScrap on the end of them.
Many of the ladies were up until 4, 5 and even 7:30 am. These two stopped for a nap between classes.
Thanks ladies for making mine and Lindsey's job so enjoyable! We had a great time with you all and can't wait to see so many of you in November!! Our next retreat is already on the books and about 1/3 booked. It will be the first weekend in November. You can sign up on our blog www.papermusesretreats.blogspot.com. Or feel free to email me or Lindsey with any questions!
